40K doesn’t just talk about poverty- we believe in action. We think that the best way for someone to change their perception with respect to world poverty is to get their hands dirty and get in there. With a growing organization in Sydney, and the unfolding of our maiden project in Bangalore, there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved. Whether you’re busy here in Sydney or intend to get over to India and spend some time working with the kids themselves, we will be able to offer you an exciting opportunity to get involved in creating real change in people's lives.

Events

Throughout the year 40K hosts a number of events. These range from a low key catch up at the pub to formal ball which this year is to be held at the Hilton on Saturday, 23rd October. We use these events to keep our supporters up to date with the project over in India and to have a great time. For a look at past 40K events and those that are coming up in the future click here.

Fundraising

Fundraising for a project in India is an intergral part of 40K's operations in Australia. We have a number of different programs, all run by our dedicated volunteers. These range from our schools program, online fundraising, jukebox our regular giving program and event organisation.
