The 40K Foundation is selected as an official supporter charity of the Blackmore's Sydney Running Festival – 15/04/2010
The 40K Foundation is proud to announce that the organisation has been selected as an official supporter charity for the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival which will be held on September 19th this year. Last year over 32,000 people entered the festival and this number is set to be even higher resulting in valuable exposure for 40K’s growing brand. 40K are looking for individuals and teams to take part in the running festival on our behalf. If a fundraising target is hit then the Festival’s organisers refund the entry fee meaning that there is even more reason to run for a cause. If you are interested in finding out more please contact Liz Wood on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or head to http://www.sydneyrunningfestival.com.au/ to enter the race before clicking on 40K’s logo to sign up to raise money for us. Last year the Corporate Team of Freehills Law Firm raised over $30,000 for 40K through their participation in the event – a fantastic team building exercise. The Running Festival comprises four different distance – the 42km full marathon, the 21km half marathon, a 9km run and a 4km family fun run, meaning that everyone is able to take part in the event regardless of their running experience. 40K will be partnering with online fundraising website www.gofundraise.com.au in order to raise money for 40K’s cause. Money raised at the event will go towards 40K’s maiden project – the bridging school in Bangalore India which is due to be completed in October.
