40K doesn’t just talk about poverty- we believe in action. We think that the best way for someone to change their perception with respect to world poverty is to get their hands dirty and get in there. With a growing organization in Sydney, and the unfolding of our maiden project in Bangalore, there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved. Whether you’re busy here in Sydney or intend to get over to India and spend some time working with the kids themselves, we will be able to offer you an exciting opportunity to get involved in creating real change in people's lives.
Volunteer in IndiaWe encourage as many people as we can to get over to India, or any other developing country, and spend some time on the ground over there. Immersion is so important in changing your perspective towards things- we reckon that once you’ve spent time in India, it will have changed your life. To help, if you are eligible, we can set you up to volunteer at the Lovedale Foundation in Bangalore. Click HERE to see the photo gallery of some of our volunteers in India.
Volunteer in AustraliaThere are many opportunities to get involved with 40K in Australia. Volunteers can work at running and organising 40K's fundraising programs, conduct research or both.
40K FoundationAt 40K we always encourage our volunteers to think outside the box and come up with original ideas, if you think up something original then you can run with it. At the moment there are no specific roles that are required to be filled but we always welcome enthusiastic individuals who wish to get involved and help out. If you would like to get involved please contact Hamish on 9221 4041 or drop him an email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
